Design, install, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure.
Establish and maintain network performance by building network configurations and connections; troubleshoot network problems.
Network Engineer Job Duties:
Work with a team that designs and develops scalable, maintainable, 99.99% available network architectures that meets business objectives and SLAs.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS.)
Perform network maintenance and firmware upgrades including bug workarounds and security configurations.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Track network usage and trends. Create baselines. Capacity planning
Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support and troubleshoot to resolve issues.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Maximize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Define, document, and enforce system standards. Select and deploy monitoring and security tools. Secure network by establishing and enforcing policies, and by defining and monitoring access.
Report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information.

Required Degree: Associate's
Minimum 5 years experience
LAN Knowledge, Proxy Servers, Networking Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Performance Tuning
CCNA, CCNP or CCIE preferred
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS.)
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco IOS, OSPF, Layer 2, Layer 3, advanced IP Addressing, IPSec VPN, Configuration of secure routing solutions, WLAN, LAN and WAN, Cisco StackWise.
Experience deploying and troubleshooting NAC for wired and wireless access.
Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and securing Cisco Wireless networks for optimal performance.
Deploying and troubleshooting Cisco AireOS 8.0, Prime Infrastructure release 2.2, and Identity Services Engine release 1.3 features.
Maintenance of Infoblox’s DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI).Maintenance of Websense Web Filter & Security web proxy.
Manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls for Internet, and home VPN traffic.
Maintenance of monitoring solutions like Zenoss, Solar Winds, or Nagios
