SAS Infra Part / ICTO Unit
Maintains services and monitoring systems running on windows servers
Research / evaluate new windows server technologies
Stay current regarding new HW & SW products to enhance systems
Install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with Microsoft Active Directory
Conform to corporate change-control and security policies
Maintain outstanding windows servers design & installation docs
Part of on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations
4+ years of experience with Windows Administrator
Work with end-point protection technologies like Symantec Endpoint Protection and Windows Software Center Endpoint Protection to ensure all systems are protected.
Experience with imaging processes and solutions using tools like Ghost, Window Deployment Services and SCCM for new image and software package deployments.
Extensive troubleshooting experience; an expert troubleshooter – unwilling to let a problem defeat you.
Scripting experience with PowerShell.
Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DCHP administration and structure
Extensive knowledge of Windows File Server and SQL server clustering.
Experience with VMware 5.5 and 6.0 infrastructure administration
Must be a thorough document processes and system configurations as required.
Handle additional responsibilities as delegated.
Work with team to administer and provide 2nd level support for more than 4500 desktops, laptops, servers and printers to investigate and resolve hardware and software issues.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field desired.
