Within the Solutions Business Unit, the Retail group is looking for a seasoned business development professional with consultative sales experience to help drive the adoption of SDS omnichannel solutions that enhance the customer experience, improve employees’ productivity, and deliver store and chain level efficiencies.

Position Summary:

The Solution Sales Specialist’s main role is to sell our solutions to new accounts in the Retail markets and increase revenue with projects and sustainable service. The ideal candidate must have a strong consultative solution sales background and be capable of selling direct to customers in conjunction with channel partners and resellers.

The ideal candidate must have a proven record of selling solutions to enterprise customers in Retail and similar vertical industries and possess expertise in enterprise customer’s business challenges, current IT environment, existing partners, decision making & procurement process. Understanding and knowledge of solutions stack including hardware, software, platform and services as a whole to sell project and service is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate pipeline of opportunities in new accounts through personal and professional networks
  • Establish and maintain key account and channel partner relationships
  • Increase sales to existing customers with cross/upsell and ongoing services
  • Reach or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets of Samsung SDS Retail Solution and Services (Nexshop)
  • Manage and close sales opportunities through accurate forecasting, account and opportunity planning, account resource allocation and opportunity management.
  • As a solution sales manager, learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Samsung SDS Retail Solutions (Nexshop) working with product manager to lead pre-sales activities independently
  • Identify and recruit partners to sell joint offerings to meet customers’ requirement
  • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries, competitors’ product/services and price

Mandatory Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience with proven success in selling retail solutions direct and with channel partners required
  • Proven track record selling marketing/analytics/business intelligence and/or similar solutions required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Confident, assertive, great attitude, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter.
  • Experience selling projects through all sales cycle of multiple software, hardware, consulting/professional services and post-delivery services is preferred.
  • Experience as a key account manager to work with end-customer’s full IT/marketing spending project life-cycle to have stable and sizable business opportunities while developing new accounts to expand the pipelines is ideal.
  • Ability to travel 30% or more
